Audience Upholstery is a growing upholstery business located on the White Horse Business Park in Trowbridge. We are looking for a trainee to join our friendly team. In this role you will undertake a variety of tasks involved in upholstery, particularly of seating.
Successful candidates will have a practical approach, an eye for detail and will be keen to learn and develop their knowledge and skills. Previous relevant experience, although advantageous, is not essential as training will be given. You will be a team player and a “can do” approach combined with enthusiasm and initiative are critical.

Tasks, once trained, would include:
- Using an electric fabric cutting knife
- Using the sewing machine to sew the fabric pieces together
- Using a spray gun to glue foam cut outs onto core boards
- Wrapping, covering and stapling
Skills required:
Attention to detail, reliability, punctuality and willingness to learn.
Strong work ethic, commitment, enthusiasm to learn, ability to build good working relationships, team player, flexibility.
Qualifications:
Desirable GCSE grades A-C in English and Maths
Personal Qualities:
Friendly, can-do attitude.
